Ryan Brierley has been voted August’s Player of the Month.
One of our own has picked up the accolade for the second time this season, after winning the award in June for his stellar performances across the month.
August has been exactly the same for Brierley, who has shown on a consistent basis all season why he is one of the most underrated players across the whole division.
This month he has fought off competition from teammates, Ken Sio, Oliver Partington and Brad Singleton, who have all contributed to the teams’ success in the past few weeks.
In reaction to winning the award, Brierley has said: “I’m pleased to win Player of the Month award voted for by the fans, it’s always nice to be recognised.
“The season is still alive so we need your support more than ever Friday night!”
