Salford Red Devils Foundation works with primary, secondary and SEND schools across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.
OUR SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
Our school delivery is aligned with our mission to raise aspirations and inspire potential, improving the life chances of people in our communities. We deliver an extensive range of programmes underpinned by Rugby League.
These programmes include rugby league coaching, multi-sports coaching, physical health, healthy eating, mental health and wellbeing, raising achievement, employability, mentoring, student leadership and literacy.
THE BUILDING THE FUTURE STRATEGY
This programme has seen over 8500 young people from over 100 Building the Future schools and community group partners attend designated Building the Future Super League games for free since its’ inception in 2021
BE A RED STUDENT REWARD SCHEME
Over 1000 young people from across the region have been rewarded with Salford Red Devils match tickets for consistently demonstrating our “Be a Red” values in their school lives, whilst being great role models for their peers.
SCHOOL RUGBY COMPETITIONS
In 2024, the primary school tag rugby competitions, in partnership with Schools Sports Salford, have seen the Foundation engage with over 30 different schools and 586 boys & girls from year 3 to year 6.
In 2024, 1311 young people in Years 7 to 11 have played in our Salford Schools Secondary Festivals.. Both primary and secondary competitions give your students the opportunity to compete against other schools and potentially play on the Salford Community Stadium pitch at half time during a Salford Red Devils Super League game.
