THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

FREE TRAVEL TO THE SALFORD STADIUM!

Salford Red Devils are delighted to work in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester, GO North-West and the Trafford Centre to provide supporters with a match day travel plan for our Armed Forces Appreciation Day on Sunday 25th June.

We take on Wigan Warriors in the Betfred Super League, with a mouth-watering Lancashire derby the centrepiece to a day full of activity for all the family.

From live musical performances to a military village, there’s plenty going on – click HERE to learn more and buy tickets.

So, because the area directly around the Salford Stadium will be so busy – including the main car park – we are thrilled to be working in partnership with the above organisations to provide supporters with an alternative, stress-free solution.

You can access the full, in-depth travel plan HERE, but here is a summary of what it entails:

-> On Sunday 25th, Veterans who carry their veterans badge or MOD90 card, or cadets travelling in uniform can travel for FREE on the Metrolink.

-> A shuttle bus service will operate from BAY 16 at the Trafford Centre bus station to the stadium pre-match. A full timetable can be found on the link above, with travel FREE for servicemen/women, veterans, match/season ticket holders, pass holders and under 16s.

-> For everyone else, tickets are priced at £2 for a single or £3 return.

-> Buses will run every 15 minutes from 11am and every eight minutes from 12pm, until the last pre-match service at 2:45pm.

-> Post-match buses will depart from the bus lay by next to the grass pitch.

The club are constantly in dialogue to make the Salford Stadium more accessible for supporters on match day and we hope this is the first of a lot more options going forward.

You can still pre-book parking at the Salford Stadium by clicking HERE, but please note this is limited, so you will have to be quick.
