You have voted Deon Cross as May’s Player of the Month.
In perhaps the tightest vote of 2024, the 27-year-old has beaten stern competition from teammates, Ollie Partington, Kallum Watkins and April’s winner, Nene Macdonald.
Cross operated at centre in his first two seasons at the club, becoming an integral part of Paul Rowley’s side.
He has contributed with five tries and one try assist in his 13 appearances so far this year; including a memorable winner against St Helens in Round 4.
Across May, Cross has been a reliable performer on the wing.
In reaction to winning the award, Cross said: “Thanks to the fans who voted for me. I am looking forward to the rest of the season moving forward and to keep building as a team.”
