The hot-step of Holly Waddington has secured the Women’s April Try of the Month.
Joining the Reds from the Huddersfield Giants in 2025, the versatile nine has already showcased her exciting talent in our opening few games.
In the girls’ 52-0 win over Bradford Bulls, in the Challenge Shield quarter-final, the youngster bagged her first in Salford colours – and in some style too.
Anna Dennis spotted a gap on the right edge and made a break. The scrambling Bulls defence got back, but the support play from Waddington allowed her fullback to flick and offload and keep the move alive.
She still had plenty to do, and stepped beautifully off her left foot to sprint round the remaining defender and slide over.
