Salford Red Devils are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Janice Allan from the University of Salford to the Holding Company Board.
Janice is the Deputy Dean of Salford Business School and is working tirelessly with us to help establish an enhanced partnership agreement between the club and the University, encompassing a wide range of activities.
Allan said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the holding board of Salford Red Devils and supporting their fantastic performance both on the pitch and in our community.
“I can’t wait to see what we can achieve with the University of Salford and Salford Red Devils working in partnership.”
Hailing from Canada, Janice is very keen to use her expertise in helping the club reach deeper into the local communities across the city and assist in working with our Foundation to provide advice and assistance where required.
Salford Red Devils director Paul King said: “We’re really pleased to have Janice joining the holding board.
“It’s an important part of our identity as a community club, that we strengthen the links between ourselves and other organisations in the area.
“We already cooperate with the University across a number of initiatives and hope that Janice can help us grow this partnership further, as well as proving to be an asset through her own expertise in other areas.”
