THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

SALFORD RED DEVILS VS LEEDS RHINOS: GAME DAY GUIDE

We’re back at the Salford Community Stadium and it’s set to be a party atmosphere as we welcome Brad Arthur’s Leeds Rhinos into town.

A strict salary cap has hampered Head Coach, Paul Rowley’s team selection in the season’s opening weeks, but with measures now lifted by the RFL, it’s time for our Betfred Super League season to click into gear.

Amongst the many returning faces is last year’s Man of Steel runner-up, Marc Sneyd, Samoan powerhouse, Tim Lafai and our exemplary skipper, Kallum Watkins.

Here’s your ultimate gameday guide for our opening home extravaganza:

ESSENTIAL INFO ℹ️

Tomorrow’s Round 2 clash is a 3pm kick-off, but there’s plenty going on beforehand to whet you appetite.

Supporters who have purchased hospitality tickets are permitted entry through the main reception from 12:45pm, with all other turnstiles open at 1:30pm.

ENTERTAINMENT 🎸

If for some reason you missed it, local music legends, the Happy Mondays, will be performing some of their hit songs from the past four and a half decades before kick-off and at half-time.

Their first appearance on the East-South raised platform will be right as the boys warm-up for their crunch Super League clash.

After getting us in the mood pre-match, Shaun and Bez will return for a second time at half-time, keeping the party rocking throughout the afternoon.

Please also be aware Reserve grade players who played in our Round 1 fixture against St Helens will be taking part in a pitch parade at 2:35pm in recognition of their efforts while the Club was under a strict salary cap.

DJ Tom H will also be tasked with getting the good vibes started from the moment supporters arrive – located on the West-South corner of the outer stadium.

FAN ZONE 📣

Our fan zone is back and better than ever for 2025!

Make sure to come down early and sample the atmosphere, with Manchester United’s 12:30pm kick-off against Everton set to be shown on a big screen.

Sample some of the vendors on site, including burger, hot dog, donut and coffee vans, as well as the beer bus and Bach 95’s container bar.

Our official kit supplier, VX3 will also be on site with a range of the latest 2025 merchandise.

TICKETS 🎟️

A reminder to all supporters who have purchased season tickets that their physical copies are still available for collection at the ticket office, which opens at 10am.
