Following on from the local core included in our Elite Academy set-up, 13 of our Scholarship squad have come directly from local Community Clubs.

Other talent has been identified through the Foundation’s Rising Stars programme.

On 2025’s cohort, Head of Youth, Mark Moran has said: “We are excited to welcome a talented group of young players to the Salford Red Devils pathway for next season.

“These players have come to the attention of our Talent ID team through their skill, commitment, and hard work, as well as their performances during a thorough trial process.

“We’re proud to have a strong local core, complemented by some excellent players from further afield, but we are aware there is still plenty of talent out there, and we are constantly identifying potential players to add to the squad.”

“Our team is looking forward to helping them develop as Rugby League players while also fostering life skills to support their growth off the field.”
