Ethan Ryan says the Red Devils executed their game plan well against Huddersfield Giants, securing a first victory of the Betfred Super League season.
Two tries from Jayden Nikorima, plus efforts from Esan Marsters and Harvey Wilson secured a valuable two points at the Salford Community Stadium.
It was also winger, Ethan Ryan’s second appearance since recovering from thumb surgery; two 80-minute performances where he has reminded everyone his importance to the team.
Catching up with him at full-time, Ryan told us: “It were a tough-old night. I think we started really, really well and executed our game plan exactly how we wanted to.
“We didn’t try and throw anything around too bad and when we saw the opportunities, we took them and iced them.
“That first-half was really good, a bit scratchy in the second, but I think having Jayden (Nikorima) there and scoring, he managed to take it over the line for us.”
