THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

REDS SIGN SAINTS DUO ON LOAN

We can confirm the additions of Ciaran Nolan and Jake Davies from St Helens on initial two-week loans.

The pair are thrown straight into contention for this Sunday’s Betfred Super League Round 21 clash versus Hull FC at the MKM Stadium.

Nolan, a young hooker, has previously tasted Academy success with Saints and has progressed through the ranks to earn a spot in the first-grade squad.

The 20-year-old will add some speed and deception around the ruck and has enjoyed some senior minutes previously on loan at the club’s dual-reg partners, Swinton Lions.

Brother of former Saint, Ben Davies, Jack is a 19-year-old back rower who also earned his senior debut for Swinton against Whitehaven, during a loan spell.

His blossoming talent was also spotted at international level, as he was selected for England’s U18s, before making the step-up to Saints’ first-grade squad this season.

We’d like to wish Ciaran and Jake a warm welcome and look forward to seeing them in a Red shirt this Sunday.
