The Salford Red Devils will begin our 2017 Betfred Super League campaign by hosting 2016 champions Wigan Warriors at the The Salford Stadium.
The Red Devils will be looking to exact revenge on Wigan, who edged out Salford twice in 2016, winning by just a single score on both occasions.
2016 saw the Red Devils register their highest number of wins in a Super League season for a decade, and Ian Watson is looking to build on that further in 2017, he said;
“Ever since that drop goal went over in the Million Pound game we’ve been preparing for the next season, ad we can’t wait to get started, especially with a local derby against Wigan”.
