Red Devils out selling Wigan For Semi-Final

Salford Red Devils would like to congratulate all supporters for their outstanding loyalty as the Club continues to have its best season in decades.

The Club are celebrating selling out of its initial allocation of nearly 4000 Ladbrokes Semi-Final tickets in less than a fortnight, the stage is set for a memorable and noisy final push for Wembley.

CEO Ian Blease said: “What an amazing season it has been so far and our fans that have turned out, sung and cheered have really made a difference to how the boys have performed.

“Every club in the League we have visited this season are aware how loud our fans are, out-singing home fans everywhere they go. They take a lot of stick about there not being as many of them as there might be, but those that turn out week in and week out, are in my opinion, the best and most passionate in the League.

“We are really excited that the semi-final is going to be an event that people will talk about for years to come with the Halliwell Jones bouncing. Wigan fans are going to have to be on form to even be heard.”

In fact, after two weeks of sales the Red Devils have comfortably sold more tickets than their rivals for the clash in Warrington on 30 July.

“Our fans have been phenomenal. The Semi-Final and a possible Wembley appearance has given everybody a huge lift”, Blease continued as he confirmed the Devils have taken up more tickets for the West Stand (£20) from the RFL.

“We have now set the challenge to ourselves to make sure we sell this second allocation within the week so we can go back again and demand more. Everybody is happy, we are second in the table and we have a huge game against third-placed Leeds next Sunday in our last home game before the semi.”
