Salford Red Devils 2017 Home Kit Launch
The day has arrived where you can pre-order your new 2017 Red Devils Home shirt and collect it in time for Christmas, making it the ideal gift for a family member, or even yourself!
The stunning new jersey, once again designed by Raging Bull, will be available to collect and purchase at the Red Devils’ Open Day on Sunday 11 December.
The brief given to the designers this season was to create a fresh, modern update to a classic Salford shirt from the 1980s using modern fabric technology that the players would find comfortable to perform in.
Acting on feedback given from supporters over the previous season, the replica shirts will be a relaxed fit, designed to comfortably fit those of us who aren’t quite Super League athletes.
Taking an original design by Halbro, the final design came together and pays homage to the 1988 shirt that embodied the Red Devils team of that era.
The mainly red home jersey is broken up by four horizontal stripes across the chest and this same detailing is continued on the playing shorts.
Carl Richards, MD at Raging Bull said: “We are delighted to be producing the Red Devils kit for a second season. The reaction to last season’s was tremendous and we knew we would have to come up with something special once again to match that expectation.
“The brief to modernise a classic shirt was an exciting challenge for our team and what they have come up with will hopefully evoke the fans’ memories as Salford prepare for a successful new season.

The launch is accompanied by a three-minute promotional video, filmed at landmark locations throughout the city, that highlights what wearing the Red Devils badge means to the fans.
