Biography

Kai morgan started his rugby career at the amateur side Siddal in his junior days. While playing for Siddal Kai won 3 division 1 titles, 2 challenge cups and 2 Yorkshire cups. He joined Leeds rhinos and progressed through the ranks at youth level.

In 2018 Kai made his Leeds Rhinos debut, earning the win over Wakefield, the half back scored a try and kicked seven field goals in a 50-4 result and went on to play 3 more games that season. The next game was against St Helens which was a home victory and game where he kicked 4 conversions. The final game that season was against Bradford Bulls at Headingly stadium, which was another win, Kai ended that season on 26 points.

After spending 2020 off the field because of the Covid, Morgan stepped up to the academy of Leeds Rhinos and made his first appearance in a 54-0 win over the London Broncos, scoring a try on his debut Aswell. Just days later he was in action against Hull FC but unfortunately suffered an injury that kept him out for 2 months.

In 2022 after playing 12 games and scoring 53 points, the half back was rewarded with all those points, with winning the under 18s academy grand finale against St Helens. He also appeared 3 more times for the Leeds Rhinos reserves before making the step up to first grade rugby league as he signed for Salford Red Devils ahead of the 2024 season.
