Salford Red Devils finished the 2021 Betfred Super League season with a 26-14 victory over St. Helens.
Despite going behind first and trailing at the break, Salford ensured the visitors did not score a single point in the entirety of the second half.
Ken Sio scored a brace of tries to further extend his lead at the top of the table for tries scored in Super League this season, his second given to him by Chris Atkin who could have scored himself but selflessly set Sio up.
Matty Costello powered over shortly before the interval, and Salford-born Ellis Robson crashed over in the second half in front of the South Stand he grew up in as a fan, sealing a Salford victory at the The Salford Stadium.
The night was memorable for Jack Ormondroyd, who reached 15o career appearances, Chris Atkin who made his 200th and Greg Burke who made his 15oth Super League appearance.
Kevin Brown received a Guard of Honour after he bowed out of rugby league this evening after 19 fantastic years.
