Paul Rowley’s side are out in Perpignan looking to topple the Betfred Super League leaders and regain their spot in the top six.
There was certainly late drama when the two sides last met. With the Red Devils leading 16-10, a late Catalans Dragons try gave Adam Keighran the chance to pull his side level.
Much to the delight of everyone inside the Salford Stadium, the Aussie dragged his attempt wide and we came away with another crucial two points.
This time around, we are looking to bounce back from a poor string of results.
Recent defeats to Wigan, Wakefield, Leeds and Leigh have seen us drop outside the winners circle, but spirits are still high and we’ll be looking to wrestle back some momentum in the South of France.

SQUAD NEWS
It’s nearly been a fortnight since our last fixture, so there has been some significant changes to the 19-man squad out in Perpignan.
Marc Sneyd, Tim Lafai and Danny Addy are all missing for this one, with Kallum Watkins and Shane Wright still long-term absentees.
As documented on Wednesday, Tyler Dupree and Ellis Longstaff have both left the club to join Wigan Warriors and Featherstone Rovers respectively.
Today’s game is also too soon for new signing, Brad Singleton.
INU’S PREVIEW
Speaking to the press earlier this week, Assistant Coach, Krisnan Inu was quizzed where he felt the team where at going into a crucial run-in.
“Like any other team, no-one is perfect, so the boys have got something to work on – whether it’s after a win or after a loss.
“We’re always looking to sharpen our tools and make sure we get better every week,” Inu said.
When asked about our recent performances, Inu admits it’s been a tough couple of weeks for the team, but also says they’re doing everything they can to turn it around.
“Personally, a bit average for my liking, but in general I think we’re doing what we can with what we’ve got – so I’m pleased in them aspects,” Inu continued.
“And the boys are doing it tough, so they’re doing what they can to look after themselves off the field to make sure they’re doing the right things to play well on the field for the rest of the season.”
