On Thursday evening, Salford Red Devils face the Huddersfield Giants in a crucial Super League battle at the The Salford Stadium.
The Giants desperately need a win to avoid being dragged into the relegation battle, with the Red Devils looking upwards at a play-off spot.
However, such battles are not confined to the field of play. Ex-Red Devil Jansin Turgut is facing a long & very painful fight to recover from his catastrophic injuries, while Peter & Jenna Dixon, parents of 10-year-old Cadishead Rhino Petro, are in all our thoughts after the tragic & untimely loss of their boy on 23rdJune.
A fundraising raffle, with the proceeds shared between the online pages setup up for Jansin & Petro, will be taking place before & during our game on Thursday evening.
A Red Devils supporter has donated two unique sets of NRL Marvel Superhero shirts as prizes.
One set is the original 2014 issue of five Superheroes made up of Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk & Wolverine.
The other set of nine is from the 2017 NRL season and was the third & final set ever to be issued. It added the likes of Spider-Man, Ant Man, Iron Fist & Falcon to the original set.
The popularity of these shirts meant they are now sold out & sets like these are simply not available anywhere.
Raffle tickets will be on sale outside reception for at least an hour before the game, before moving to the 1873 lounge during half-time.
14 winning tickets will be drawn post-match and the winning ticket numbers will be announced across our social media platforms.
Winners can collect their prize from outside main reception up to 20 minutes after the match and in between office hours at the Stadium after.
All funds raised on the night will be immediately donated to the fundraising pages set up for Jansin & Petro.
