Louise Fellingham has been selected as April’s Women’s Player of the Month.
The halfback returned to the Club she captained for two years at the start of 2025 and has slotted seamlessly back into the team.
Forming a deadly partnership with Ellie Costello, the experienced half scored a try in our opening Challenge Shield last-16 tie against Wakefield Trinity, as well as our league opener against Sheffield Eagles.
Now part of our leadership team, Fellingham’s ability to guide the team around the pitch has been evident and her grit in defence has helped keep the tries conceded tally to zero.
On selecting Louise as April’s winner, Head Coach, Mike Grady said: “Lobby has been fantastic for us since she has returned to the Club. This is the first time I have coached her and for myself, and the staff she is coach’s dream.
“She knows the game inside out, she is clever, directs us around the park and has a good kicking game. She pushes herself and everyone around her in training and games, and makes sure as a group our standards are high.”
