Salford Red Devils are pleased to announce that Junior Sa’u has signed a new long term contract with the club.
Sa’u joins Ben Murdoch-Masila, Weller Hauraki and Gareth O’Brien in signing on for the Red Devils, as Head Coach Ian Watson looks to build for the future.
On the signing of Sa’u, Watson is confident that the Centre can continue to be a big asset to the team, he said;
“Junior is a big part of this club both on and off the field. As one of our senior leaders he is integral to what we are about as a team, and is instrumental in providing support and guidance to some of the younger members of the team.
He has worked hard to overcome fitness issues and has established himself as one of the top centres in Super League.”
With Sa’u adding his name to the list of players secured for next season, CEO Ian Blease is excited for the club going forwards, he said;
“Junior is another piece of the puzzle going forward and it’s great to have him sign on again. The way he conducts himself as both a player and person is a credit to him and the club, and I’m really pleased that he has committed to the Red Devils.”
Junior is sponsored by Bullen Conservation.
The Red Devils are next in action on Friday night, away to the Widnes Vikings. Tickets for this game are available by visiting the The Salford Stadium or calling 0161 786 1574.
