Jack Ormondroyd has been voted April’s Player of the Month.
The 33-year-old has been a colossus in the forward pack across 2025 and perhaps was a shoe-in for this accolade with his shows of courage and leadership.
A mention does have to go to our two other nominees, Jayden Nikorima and Tiaki Chan, who have stood up for the team during a difficult period.
Despite a tough month for the team, Ormondroyd has again shone through and became one of the key voices in the dressing room.
On taking home April’s award, Ormondroyd said: “Thank you to everyone who voted for me this month, it means a lot to be recognised by the supporters.
“Your backing in times like this is extra special and the lads feel it every time we take the field – we’ll continue to work hard and push to improve as the season goes on.”
