Assistant Coach, Krisnan Inu says our latest loan signing, Danny Richardson ‘hasn’t looked out of place’ in his first training session with the team.
The experienced halfback has joined the Club on a two-week loan from Hull KR and will add some organisation and quality in attacking areas.
A Dream Team member in 2018, Richardson certainly has the pedigree to make a real impact during his stay and supporters will be keen to see him action this weekend.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Inu was asked how the 28-year-old was settling in. “He’s had his first session today and not looked out of place,” he said.
“He’s exactly what you said, an out-and-out half and comes with experience – and you could see it out there today.”
Round 17 see’s Salford back on the road to face St Helens for the third time this season. With plenty of new faces in the team since the two sides met earlier this month, it’s set to be an intriguing battle at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
On the game, Inu continued: “We don’t go into a game hoping to lose, so we’re always chasing that win, no matter who it’s against. This week it’s Saints, so we’ll be chasing that win again.”
