Holly Waddington has been selected as June’s Women’s Player of the Month.
The versatile #9 has been indispensable for Mike Grady’s team since joining the Club at the start of 2025 and showed everyone what she can do with her industrious performances.
An intelligent, eyes-up rugby player, Waddington has shown across June just why she arrived at the Red Devils so highly rated.
Despite losing three out of four last month, she was certainly a standout and has adequately covered at fullback and halfback when called upon.
On selecting Holly as June’s winner, our Head Coach said: “Holly has been outstanding for us this season; she fully deserves June’s Player of the Month.
“She has a really good rugby brain and a lot of things just come to her naturally, she can cover several key positions for us and always makes an impact, whether that be at half, 9 or fullback.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing her develop; the scary thing is that there is so much more potential there, too!”
