Two tries in either half powered Paul Rowley’s side into a healthy lead before Rowan Milnes confirmed the victory with a sweet drop-goal just minutes from time.
It’s only a third Super League victory of the season, but it’s certainly the sweetest, with a Red Devils’ side mixed with loan signings and young players upsetting the odds.
Justin Sangaré picked up a well-deserved Player of the Match for a two-try performance, with veteran Joe Mellor also showing his class as captain.
