Salford Red Devils Foundation were pleased to assist the Myriad Foundation with their Soup ‘N’ Smiles project this week.
The Soup ‘N’ Smiles project is based in the heart of Manchester at Piccadilly Gardens and provides a key service for many of the homeless and needy in Manchester.
Salford Red Devils Foundation director Neil Blackburn said: “We have been really pleased to support the Myriad Foundation with this initiative, which has already done so much good for the homeless community.
“This is always a difficult time of year for those in need and circumstances this year have made things even tougher.
“Ensuring people are provided with warm food and clothing is crucial and we were happy to assist, but we also recognise the importance of engaging users of the service in conversation and providing them with them with important information and advice.”
Salford Red Devils Foundation staff volunteered their time and donated provisions to the project on Wednesday night.
