Sa’u visits Langworthy Reds

On Wednesday evening, Junior Sa’u visited Langworthy Reds training at Albion Academy to spread the word about our next home game vs Catalans Dragons.
Junior visited three different age groups during the hours training session taking part in skills and activities with the children.
He presented the Under 7s with their new 2016 Raging Bull kits before the Under 9s put him through his paces with a game of Union Jack.
Langworthy Reds have long been involved with the Salford Red Devils at community festivals, player appearances, awards evenings and as Mascots at home games. They’ll be joining us again later this season at the home game vs Wigan Warriors.
Sonia Eaves, a coach at Langworthy Reds said, ‘As coaches we all appreciate Junior and the club taking time out to spend with the kids. They have had an amazing experience and will be talking about it for a long time to come. They are all really excited for the rest of the season and are looking forward to playing in the festival prior to the Leeds game. They would like to wish Junior and all the boys good luck for this Sunday’s game and the rest of the season.’
Melissa Fenlon, from the Salford Red Devils said, ‘It was great to visit Langworthy Reds with Junior Sa’u, it’s always great to visit one of our local clubs and see how many children are out there supporting the Red Devils. We’re working hard to promote the club amongst the community, strengthen our partnerships with amateur clubs and to look for our next generation of fans. We hope all the children enjoyed the visit!’
