THE ORIGINAL RED DEVILS

World and European medallist visits Red Devils

The Red Devils squad and coaching staff were joined by Team GB World and European medallist Jenny Meadows as she gave the club several Back Ballers to help with recovery.
Meadows, a 400 and 800 metre runner who competed at the Olympic Games in 2008, helped recovering Red Devils Lee Mossop, Mark Flanagan and Lama Tasi get to grips with the BackBaller and told them how it can aid them in their rehabilitation.
Meadows said: “It’s all about inches at this level of sport and the BackBaller can really make the difference when you’re recovering from a tough Rugby match – in the case of the Salford Red Devils.”
Head physiotherapist Rob Artingstall said: “Thanks to Jenny and the people involved with BackBallers for coming down, giving us a demonstration and handing us some to use for ourselves.
“It’s a fantastic bit of equipment to aid recovery and one that we will definitely use in the off-season as the lads aim to return to peak physical condition.
“I, and the rest of the medical staff, are already looking forward to planning our sessions with the use of these new BackBallers.”
The BackBaller is specifically designed to self-treat muscles in your upper and lower back. Due to the stability and control offered it goes beyond and is now the foremost product to knead out all muscle groups.
