Biography

Marc came through the ranks at Salford in the juniors. He made his Salford debut in 2010. In 2013 he was then signed on a two-year contract with Salford.

In the 2014 Sneyd was sent on loan to Castleford Tigers. Whilst at Castleford he scored seven tries and kicked 117 goals in only 31 appearances. He also appeared in the 2014 Challenge Cup Final defeat by Leeds Rhinos.

Salford turned down a transfer request for Sneyd in June 2014, but Sneyd signed a three-year deal with Hull F.C. In the 2016 season Marc Sneyd kicked 130 goals and became the league’s top goal-kicker. He then later went onto winning the 2016 Challenge Cup with Hull F.C. against Warrington Wolves in a 12-10 victory. He also won the Lance Todd Trophy in this match. In the 2017 season Marc extended his contract with Hull until 2019. He then won the Challenge Cup again with Hull in a 18-14 victory over Wigan Warriors, and once again won the Lance Todd two years in a row.

On the 5th November 2021 Marc joined Salford Red Devils on a three year deal with the contract begging in the 2022 season. In the 2023 season Sneyd surpassed over 2000 Super League points in his carrier.

In the 2021 Sneyd made his England debut in the 2021 Rugby League World Cup match against France in Bolton on the 22nd October 2022, he kicked seven goals and helped England win in a 42-18 victory.
