MARC SNEYD WINS MAY PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Marc Sneyd has been voted May’s Player of the Month.

Our outstanding number seven continues to reach landmark after landmark and was certainly a standout performer across the competition in May – fending off teammates, Ryan Brierley and Chris Atkin.

We started the month with an impressive and rare victory at Headingley, against Leeds Rhinos, where Sneyd’s penalty kicking kept the score ticking over.

Despite defeat against St Helens in our next outing, he then produced a stunning, man of the match performance against Huddersfield Giants in the Challenge Cup.

He was perfect with the boot and even scored a try of his own – supporting a Deon Cross’ break to slide under the sticks.

The halfback then made his former club, Hull FC suffer with some incredible pieces of creativity; none more so than the skidding kick that Ryan Brierley raced onto for our third try of the game.

In reaction to winning the award, Sneyd said: “It is always nice to get voted for by the fans – I must be doing something right!”
