The Salford Red Devils are delighted to announce that Prop Forward Lama Tasi has extended his contract with the club.
Tasi rejoined the Red Devils from St Helens for the 2017 season having spent 2014/15 with the club, and has quickly re-established himself in the side.
Head Coach Ian Watson was pleased to Tasi return to the club, and has been impressed with the impact he has made this season, he said;
“Lama has come back into the group this season and it’s like he was never away. The impact he has had along Lee Mossop has been immense and on his day he is one of the best Front Rowers in the league, so we’re really happy that he has extended his deal with us.”
Tasi is the 5th player to sign a new deal with the club, joining Gareth O’Brien, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Junior Sa’u and Weller Hauraki, and CEO Ian Blease is pleased with the business the club have done so far, he said;
“Lama is another important piece in the puzzle and we’re really happy with the way the squad is looking. There is plenty of business still going on behind the scenes, and things are looking hugely exciting for the club going forward.”
