After working closely with the RFL Salford Red Devils have banned five people from attending our games and given out four further behaviour warnings. One ban is until the end of the 2017 season and the other four will run until the end of the 2018 season.
We have found that the majority of the trouble was caused by people that do not normally attend Salford Red Devils games. However, any such behaviour reflects on the Club as a whole and tarnishes the image of our family club built over the last century and as such has to be acted upon.
The actions of the few were clearly unacceptable behaviour and have been dealt with as such. All people banned or cautioned have been invited to a workshop to educate them over the possible consequences associated with crowd trouble. This will take place a date later in the year.
We appreciate the great support that we receive from the vast majority of our loyal and wonderful supporters and will continue to operate a zero tolerance policy towards anti-social behaviour of any kind in order to protect the reputation of all involved with the Club, especially the fans.
